RESCHEDULING
We are happy to help you reschedule if unforeseen changes arise & you find it necessary to change your event date. This needs to be done at least 60 days in advance of your initial date. If you need to reschedule 14 days - 59 days prior to your event date a $200 rescheduling fee will be assessed. If rescheduling within 14 days of your event date a $400 fee will be assessed. If you reschedule for a date that is priced higher than your original date you may be responsible for paying the difference in price.

CANCELLATION
For all booked events your initial retainer/deposit consisting of 50% of your total rental is non-refundable in the event of complete cancellation. Cancellations must be made at minimum of 30 days prior to event date and before final payment is due. Because dates are typically booked out months in advance, cancelling often leaves us with a loss in booking that we may be unable to fill. This retainer helps alleviate some of that income loss for ‘The Venue’ (though not all) due to client cancellation.

Although booking deposits ARE non-refundable in the event of cancellation, this amount is not lost, but kept on file under the financially responsible person’s name as a ‘credit.’ This credit can be used towards any other type of event (party, baby shower, bridal shower, family/ holiday gathering). This credit will be available for up to 12 months after cancellation date.

EVENT INSURANCE

All renters of Uniquely You Event Venue must purchase insurance for their specific event. You must use one of the following insurance companies, these companies already have the required property and liability coverage written into their policies, you will only need to enter in your information and the information about your event.

Insurance must be emailed to and accepted by the venue at least 30 days prior to the event date.
If it is not purchased and given to Uniquely You Event Venue in the required time frame the owner has the right to cancel the event without the return of the renters deposit. The venue will first attempt to reschedule the event date within 1 year time frame, any additional cost caused by the rescheduling will be the responsibility of the renter.
